    Civil Construction Advisor

    Job Description:

    • Construction of remote camp facilities, multi wells pad, roads, and general support during rig moves and drilling operations.
    • Construction of well cellars, flare berms and mud ponds.
    • Mechanical fabrication & erection of temporary pipe supports, piping, equipment erection & infield pipeline.
    • Drilling of water boreholes and setting up temporary reticulation systems internal roads, drainage and U/G works.
    • Hazardous and non-hazardous storage pit etc.
    • Overseeing entire civil works construction activity by contractor, resource planning & mobilization,
    • Replying technical queries, reviewing construction execution plan, construction methodology/work procedure,
    • Review of weekly progress, participating in technical & safety audits, Permit to work, Develop and implementing Project strategy and objectives for safety, schedule, cost and quality of all construction activities on site.
    • Key Interface for all development, design, procurement, systems completion and transition and compliance activities for construction of exploration & appraisal drilling Campaign
    • Field survey, detailed estimation, Engineering & design review, tender preparation, technical bid evaluations,
    • Statutory approvals, land management & development, work execution at site, conductor installations, overall supervision and monitoring cost, quality and schedule variances, change orders, resources planning & mobilization, co-ordination with internal & external stakeholders etc.
    • Periodic progress reviews and minutes with contractors, & reporting to Head-office. Leads and participate in incident investigations for incidents. Work directly with contractors on HSEQ behaviours and culture to improve overall performance and maintain zero harm culture at work site.
    • Liaising with logistics and supply base/warehouse, office.
    • Recruitment & training of staff, movement of material & manpower, land management, statuary permissions & approval from various Government organizations, inspection & verification of premises before setting up facilities.
    • Verifying EIA applicable to the respective areas and ensuring compliances with regards to minimum impact on fauna and flora.
    • Keeping good relationships with local community ensuring that local contents are utilized as much as possible.

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • 15 to 20 years' experience in a similar role
    • Computer literacy in Word & Excel
    • Experience working in remote locations and dealing with multinational work force
    • Ability to perform under pressure and working for extended durations
    • Good physical health
    • Valid driver's license.
