General

• Degree qualified
• 3 - 4 years of experience
• Report directly to the Project Engineering Manager
• BBEEE candidate
• Position may involve international travel to China for quality inspections

Experience

• Manufacturing surveillance and design understanding of heavy equipment
• Stacker Reclaimers
• Ship loaders
• Site works and construction of heavy equipment
• Mechanical systems understanding
• Quality surveillance for construction
• Exposure to large scale Structural fabrication
• Report writing

Duties

• Workshop surveillance/Quality Assurance/Inspection
• Inspection and test plan review and auditing
• Schedule review of activities, evaluation of progress
• Pre-commissioning activities/audit
• Site works to erect 2 shiploader and 2 stacker reclaimers
• Quality auditing
• Commissioning activities/audit
