The primary contribution of the Consulting division is to design, develop and implement information security and regulatory frameworks in line with business objectives based on security requirement standards like ISO 27001, ITIL Framework, POPI, Cyber Security Bill, King IV, PAIA and RICA.

The primary role of the consultant is to provide security and privacy consulting to protect a customer’s private business information.

The successful incumbent will be required to perform various Information Security Consulting functions, generally centered around ISO27001 assessments, implementations of information security controls, or acting as an onsite ISO where customers request this.

Minimum Level of Experience:

• Delivery of quality results through an effective attention on the production of desired outcomes
• Proven understanding and awareness of current developments in the prevailing global Cyber Security environment and within the local market
• An ability to work effectively with other consultants and customer representatives, including board level engagements
• 5 Years work experience on information security management or equivalent
• Internet, network and applications security, including intrusion detection, incident response, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Security architecture experience; Risk assessments; ISO 27001

Minimum Level or Qualifications:

• B.Comm, BSc (IT or Security)
• MBA (Advantegeous)
• ITIL; PCI; ISO 27001; CISSP advantageous; COBIT; TOGAF; SABSA; Zachmann & Bredenmeyer; CEH
• SABSA (Advantageous)
