    Hardware Development Engineer

    Job description

    The work involves a combination of:

    • HDL programming for the signal processing products we develop.
    • C/C++ programming for our sensor and signal processing products.
    • Sensor and signal processing hardware design and enhancement.
    • Interfacing between our different hardware products.

    Requirements

    • Recent graduates (graduation in the last 7 years).
    • A BSc(Eng)/BEng/BIng degree in Electrical or Electrical and Computer Engineering.  Mechatronics degrees from some universities will also be considered.  Applicants with further postgraduate degrees are welcome.
    • Either South African citizenship/permanent residence, or a degree from a South African university.
    • An interest in signal processing and hardware design.
    • HDL (VHDL) and C/C++ programming experience would be useful.

    Location

    Successful applicants will be working in our Bergvliet, Cape Town (South Africa) offices (near Constantia).
