Job description

Join the dynamic Audit Software Development team as a Software Test Analyst: Financial Statements and provide invaluable contributions to the design of various software products. You will be responsible writing test cases and performance testing on various software products.

Key Deliverables:

• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data and data validation
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
• Ad-hoc and regression testing

Required Skills and Experience:

• Completed BCom or Accounting related qualification (minimum NQF level 6), with a minimum of Accounting 2 completed
• Software testing experience (2 years minimum)
• Intermediate testing analysis (TA) experience
• Experience working in an agile team
• Experience with test tools and applications
• Experience with project monitoring tools and applications
• Previous proven track record working successfully in teams
• Planning and prioritizing projects
• Ability to understand clients’ needs and priorities in a wider business context
