Job Description

Qualifications:

At least 5 to 8 years proven experience, preferably with experience in Sasol

Key Resposibilities:

• The design of complex electrical control circuits
• Research new ways to solve electrical problems
• Prepare charts, drawings and test models from instructions
• Run tests and record the results
• Calculate the materials and costs required to build equipment
• Verifying and quality control of technical information
• The compilation of reports
• Prepare and provide inputs into contracts

Key Skills and Knowledge:

• Good hand-eye coordination skills
• Good at manual handwork.
• Computer skills.
• An eye for detail and the ability to issue instructions to subordinates.
• Good communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and skill in making calculations.
• Good technical and drawing skills.
• Knowledge about electrical theory and practice, safety and construction regulations.
• Knowledge about use and care of equipment.
• Keeping up to date with research and technology
• Must be ready to relocate to Secunda.
