Junior Assistant Product Developer at Swift Momentum

Job description

Salary: R9500 per month, basic

Duties

• Assist in the briefing, liaising/communicating and negotiations with (mainly overseas) suppliers
• Assist and support in the sourcing and development of other products such as gifts, awards and promotional incentives
• Support and assist designer(s) in the development and sourcing of both manufactured and imported products
• Assist in the searching of new products and ideas
• Responsible for seeing through the product development process from inception to sampling to ordering to final delivery of products or items
• Liaising with the marketing, sales and other relevant departments regarding these products
• Analysing consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends
• Compiling competitive shopping reports
• Responsible for the props and other sampling items for photo shoots
• Assisting with the set-up and break-down at photo shoots
• Participating in promotional activities and events
• Assisting the Designers in maintaining procurement documents and other administrative documents or reports
• Responsible for the upkeep and updating of the Product Knowledge manual

Experience & Qualifications

• A relevant qualification would be an advantage
• 3 years working experience
