    Job Description

    Lead accelerated business growth regionally (SADC) for the Division. Implement growth strategies for the Automotive Aftermarket Division aligned to Global Business Strategy. Ensure that business Objectives are met through the adoption, and implementation of marketing strategies and business plans to maximize current business opportunities and also commercialise new products.
    • Develop strategic growth plan aligned to organisational and subsidiary strategy
    • Develop marketing plan, communication tactics and enabling too to support market penetration. Drives marketing / communication plans along with marketing communications team to create awareness of 3M as preferred supplier.
    • Develop and execute programs that support lead generation, customer acquisition, solution / application replication, and new product commercialisation
    • Effectively prioritizes marketing activities in consultation with leadership team to set short term strategic direction and develop execution plans.
    • Implements marketing plans for new and existing products. Identifies and defines significant market / product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives.
    • Deliver sustainable LCG OP growth for the Division
    • Develop and maintain segmentation analysis for the each of the major market segments identified.
    • Understand the market / customers, competitive landscape and industry trends
    • Identify new sales opportunities and potential new solutions for the market
    • Develop target account lists and opportunity pipeline to prioritise sales field activity
    • Identify and engage with large opportunity accounts to further our penetration.
    • Partners with Sales to develop strategic customer relationship approaches, industry networking, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
    • Utilize and support CRM to share global specifications working with global key account team.
    • Develop & coach team
    • Drive corporate initiatives
    • Plan and optimise use of resources
    • Demonstrate executive level relationship building capabilities
    • Develop relationships within the 3M matrix to optimally manage and execute plan
    • Develop win-win business models for 3M and End-users as well as channel partners
    • Manage the forecast model
    • Participate in COMMUNICATION activities (OPCOM, Events, Team)
    • Performance measurement
    QUALIFICATION
    • Bacherlor’s degree or higher
    • Minimum 10-15 years marketing experience
    • MBA preferable
