Are you an experienced Drilling Contract Manager with a background in raise bore drilling in the underground mining industry?

This could be the opportunity for you!

Our client is seeking a qualified individual to lead their team on site in South Africa.

Responsibilities:

• Management of team on site for raise bore drilling operations.
• Liaising with and advising client.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental standards are adhered to.
• Budgeting and cost control.
• Ordering of parts, stores control and other logistics management.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• Relevant diploma or degree.
• 7 years’ experience in raise bore drilling in the underground mining industry in South Africa.
• 4 years’ experience as a Contract Manager or Site Manager.
• Medically fit to work in underground mining environments.

This position is only open to South African citizens currently residing in South Africa.

Contractual information:

Fixed term contract.
