Shopper Marketing Manager at Syndicate

Our client – a manufacturer of some of the most Iconic brands in South Africa across Food, Confectionary, Home and Personal Care is recruiting for a Shopper/Customer Marketing Manager. Work as a critical link between the customer and the category teams in developing business growth plans within the OOH Channel (Franchise, Restaurants, Catering)

In order to be successful this role you need the following key experiences:

• Development of channel strategies specifically within Out of Home
• Implementation of channel strategies through the alignment of Marketing, Channel and Customer Management divisions
• Analysis of sales/channel data
• Proven experience in recognizing gaps in the market and coming up with viable solutions in terms of Shopper Management

Minimum experience and qualifications:

• Exceptional understanding of the OOH/HORECA channel
• At least 3 years’ experience in Shopper/Category/Channel/Customer Marketing
• Strong commercial understanding within the broader business value chain

Entrepreneurs are welcomed in this company - you “own” the category and have full autonomy with regards to all Shopper/Channel Marketing aspects – they also offer the flexibility to move across the different portfolios. They currently have a strong focus on Africa Expansion.
