    Supply Chain - Planning Administrator

    Job description

    Purpose of The Position:

    To collate and analyze data; monitor the Supply chain cross-functional performance and submit consolidated Excel files to In-Season Planning Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Data analysis: Collate and Analyze data in Excel received from In-Season Planning Manager for further preparation for Control Tower, Demand and Supply. Recommend and implement new measures as required in Excel Sheets.
    • Reporting: Consolidate weekly and monthly Excel files and implement new reports based on operational need.
    • Analytical support: Planning activities and project initiatives
    • Support Monthly Deterioration & Obsolescence & First Expire, First Out Quality process: Co-ordinate process within Planning to track First Expire, First Out Quality compliance for South Africa Warehouse/Logistics and consolidate
    • Track critical Products per Sales Allocation: highlight and follow-up on areas of concern (alignment weekly on-floor stock to Sales-Force System – includes Quality/Write-off changes) relating to critical products throughout the Commercial Season - to ensure Planning and Sales Force product alignment for sales, reducing Backorders.
    • Inventory analysis: Scrutinize Inventory and follow up on any exceptions or variances.
    • Africa and South Africa office support: Support Planning in South Africa and Africa In-season in ensuring timeously Import of Product for South Africa (Import/Export Tracking)
    • Standard Operating Procedure documentation: Support in documenting Planning Standard Operating Procedures, ISO (International Standard) path and Process step flow

    Desired Qualifications and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree qualification within Supply Chain and/or Commercial subjects
    • Computer literacy: Micro-Soft Office Advanced and Excel (including Micro-Soft Project and/or Visio)
    • 3-4 supply chain experience
    • Prior experience in agricultural of manufacturing industry is an added advantage
    • Should be willing to work on Contract.
