CAD Technician at BPS World

Job description

We are recruiting a CAD Technician to join an organisation that is fundamental in the field of air movement across sectors including nuclear, rail, healthcare and many others.

This role will present you with the opportunity to further your experience within the HVAC and ductwork sector and to work in a strong team of 20 under the supervision of a new and ambitious manager.

With a background in software packages including CAD-Duct you will be given the opportunity to see you designs realised with their on-site manufacturing facility.

Role

• This is a challenging role working within a heavy precision environment so it is likely that you will have a background in the following
• Have the ability to interpret engineering data to produce manufacturing drawings
• Experience of ventilation systems
• Understand and interpret clients` drawings (for example, ductwork/services layouts, architectural and structural details and plant / equipment information, etc.)
• Liaise with Projects Department to ensure that all drawings are prepared / presented in line with the company`s standards and procedures
