Job Summary
- In this role you will be a part of the Network Products pre-sales team for sub-Saharan Africa where you will be focused on selling Ericsson’s Radio and Transport portfolio.
- The pre-sales organization consists of a regional team and a number of Customer Unit teams. You will be part of the regional team with the responsibility for the regional product portfolio strategies and go to market related activities. You will be responsible for successful introduction of new products and solutions in the sub-Saharan market in close cooperation with the rest of the sales organization.
- As Domain Sales Manager in the regional team you are expected to lead and support sales engagements as a subject matter expert who can advise our customers and define the right solutions based on customer requirements and needs.

Responsibilities & Tasks
- Definition and implementation of regional portfolio strategies based on market insights and customer feedback.
- Definition and evolution of Network Products' offerings from a technical as well as techno commercial perspective.
- Customer engagements for positioning of new products and features as well as for proposed solutions in connection with offers.
- Competence development and knowledge sharing within the Network Products team and across the organization
- Every team member is expected to actively contribute to the development of the team towards excellence

- Position Qualifications
- Expert level knowledge of Mobile Network functionality and/or network planning and optimization
- Good IP competence and/or knowledge of transport network functionality
- Ability to combine a strong commercial understanding with market and customer insights
- Highly developed human and personal leadership skills with an interest to further develop as a leader
- Problem Solving & Strategic Thinking
- Strong business acumen
- Strong Consultative Selling Skills combined with good Presentation & Communication Skills
- Understanding of how to work in virtual teams across organizational borders
- Knowledge of Ericsson’s Radio & Transport portfolio is an advantage but not a prerequisite
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience from the ICT industry working with Radio networks e.g. from telcom operators or from ICT vendors
- 3 years of pre-sales experience
- Experience from team leader line management positions
- Master of Science, Master of Business Administration

- The position is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
