A great company in the Insurance industry is looking for a skilled BI Developer to join their strong team.

Basic Requirements

• IT-Related degree/diploma
• 3+ Years’ experience

The Basics

• The candidate must have a passion for data, numbers and reporting and show strong capabilities when developing BI solutions. The main key performance area will be to develop reporting solutions as a Business Intelligence developer.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a Microsoft environment using SQL, SSIS and SSRS is needed.
• The candidate needs to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must be eager to learn and take pride in his/her work and be committed.

Experience & Responsibilities Include

• Analysing and understanding data from multiple sources including sales, customer, accounting data sets and create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making
• Working with several large and complex SQL databases
• Be fully capable of developing OLAP or Tabular Model Cubes within a SQL environment. {SQL Server 2010 or higher}
• Designing and building reports using Pivots and connections within a OLAP or Tabular data warehouse architecture
• Be proficient with SQL and using SSIS
• Highly analytical data junkie who enjoys coding - but doesn't want to be a software engineer
• Experience in Oracle, PL/SQL will be a plus
