We are looking for Software Developer / Techops Engineer and Devops Engineer Guru’s

for the top Insurance & Finance e-commerce companies based in Cape Town, South Africa

Our clients are seeking a passionate, experienced Python, Java, PHP Developers to lead highly talented engineers as they solve a challenging set of problems to bring financial inclusion to underserved consumers throughout Africa.

• Python, Java, PHP Developer
• 7 years of Experience with Ruby, Java or Scala
• 5 + years of Experience with Linux or MacOS
• 5 + years experience using Agile development methodologies
• Experience integrating real – time machine learning?AI/ decision optimization in a big data (HDFS+Map-Reduce) environment is highly desirable
• Experience working in Amazon Web Service environments (EC2, Elastic Beanstalk) is highly desirable

TechopsEngineer:

• Bachlor of Science or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline
• Experience with software release management process is a plus is desirable
• 3+ year’s experience with major cloud environments such as Amazon or Azure
• 5+years unix systems administration experience
• 3+ years experience with IP networking and network equipment
• 2+ years experience in scripting
• DevopsEngineer
• 3+ year’s experience with major cloud environments such as Amazon or Azure (Amazon preferred)
• 5+ years unix systems administration experience
• 3+ years experience with IP networking and network equipment
• 2+ years experience in scripting
• Experience with high volume, highly available systems
• Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI or Travis
• Experience with Agile (Scrum or Kanban) and Lean methodologies
• Experience with MySQL or PostgresSQL
• Experience with software release management process is highly desirable
