Maintenance Manager at Syndicate

Job description

Our Client, a JSE listed and one of the leading Food & Beverage companies with a growing footprint in Africa is currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to ensure overall preventative plant maintenance and to ensure that a cost effective maintenance system is implemented and maintained.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Effectively contributing to the continuous development of a Preventative Maintenance System and it is completed safely, cost effectively, on time and to a satisfactory standard
• To provide a service that ensures all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to its optimum performance
• Ensure compliance with all company polices and guidelines and ensure appropriate risk assessments and working systems are in place
• To maximise availability of all mechanical and electrical equipment through continuous improvement and improve equipment efficiencies and reduce costs through Kaizens and other initiatives.
• A Degree/National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering coupled with 4 to 6 years Maintenance Management experience within a Food/Beverage FMCG manufacturing environment is required. Experience within a Bakery environment will be very advantageous. Exciting career growth potential for motivated employees!
