A new career opportunity has become available within the Risk Function. Reporting to the Head of Change Cluster, be responsible for the overall leadership and delivery of a group of projects underpinned by a common theme and related business case.

Key Accountabilities include:

• Project Management
• The identification, planning and coordination of a set of projects or work-streams within a programme of business change, to manage their interdependencies in support of specific business strategies. Maintaining a strategic view over the set of projects, providing the framework for implementing business initiatives, or large-scale change, by achieving a vision of the outcome of the project or programme. The vision, and the means of achieving it, may change as the initiatives progresses.
• Benefits Management:
• Monitoring for the emergence of anticipated benefits (typically specified as part of the business case for a change programme or project) as well as Actioning (typically by the programme or project management team) to optimise the business impact of individual and combined benefits.
• Portfolio Reporting:
• Responsibility for the reporting of programme status across the entire Change Portfolio
• Stakeholder Relationship Management:
• The coordination of relationships with and between key stakeholders, during the design, management and implementation of business change.
• Consultation:
• The provision of advice, assistance and leadership in any area associated with the planning, procurement, provision, delivery, management, maintenance or effective use of deliverables and their environments. The consultancy can deal with one specific aspect of technical knowledge and the business or it can be wide ranging and address strategic business issues.
• Resource Management:
• Ensuring an robust resource management process, which enables the effective planning, securing, recording and review of the resource capacity required to successfully deliver the defined deliverables

Education and Experience Required

• NQF Level 7: Honours Degree - essential
• Project management Qualification - essential
• Essential – 5 Years project management experience, within the financial services
• Environment / professional services consulting experience within the financial services industry.
