    Calibration Technician

    Job description

    The main purpose of the job is to plan, implement and action all internal and external calibrations for the Aspen EL facility.

    To ensure continuous availability and functioning of production systems, while ensuring GMP and Safety requirements are adhered to. Further ensure continuous development of new and more effecitve calibration methods and test equipment.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science
    • N5 or equivalent NQF level certificate (e.g. Mechanical Engineering)
    • 2 - 3 Years Production / Engineering experience related to mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance on calibration equipment a strong advantage
    • Knowledge of PC / PLC controlled systems & instrument calibration
    • Knowledge of computerised maintenance systems ( PRAGMA ) an advantage
