Product Marketing Specialist at WhereIsMyTransport

Are you an entrepreneurial and experienced Product Marketing Manager? We are looking for a PMM to join WhereIsMyTransport, shaping how our products are communicated to the outside world.

You will work with our Product team to influence feature roadmaps, shape product messaging so that customers know why our products are best in industry, and work with our business development team to enable an effective sales process.

This opportunity is ideal for a PMM looking for a role which covers both strategic leadership and execution. This role is based in our Marketing and Communications team but involves close collaboration with both our Product teams and Business Development teams.

Primary Responsibilities

• Understand the customer, product and market, creating effective positioning as a result.
• Own the go-to-market and product launch process, ensuring impactful product launches and feature roll-outs
• Own customer communication such as email newsletters and blog content.
• Develop content that will convince customers and influencers of our products’ value
• Build and maintain competitive analysis.

Desired skills and experience

• Experience with both strategic planning and operation of product marketing activities
• Demonstrated ability to set, measure, and improve marketing metrics
• Experience in product launches and development of go-to-market strategies
• Experience defining positioning statements and writing creative briefs
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• SEO, SEM and email experience
• Experience in market and competitive analysis

This role is based in Cape Town. You’d be part of our Marketing and Communications team, reporting to our team lead in London.

Salary: negotiable based on experience.
