I presently have a fantastic opportunity available based in Johannesburg on behalf of a European Headquartered Consultancy company who have a global presence. This client have project's spanning across Africa. I have been given a requirement for a Principal / Management level consultant to oversee their Solar PV project's across Africa and to be based in Johannesburg.

Some Of The Primary Skills Required Include

• solar construction experience, preferably as project manager, but could also be owners engineer
• strong technical skills (engineering degree)
• business development track record

Some Of The Secondary Required Skills Include

• Market research
• Resource assessments
• Preparation of bid/proposal documents
• Feasibility and due diligence studies
• Modelling, design and optimisation of renewable energy systems
• Pricing of renewable energy solutions
• Preparation of specifications and tender documents
• Assistance with procurement of EPC contractors and contract negotiations
• Construction supervision
• Plant commissioning
• Report writing
• Project management
