    Care Service Employee Grade 2

    Join our Dynamic Team

    Uniting is seeking experienced Care Service Employees to work at Alroy House Hostel in Singleton on a casual basis, working collaboratively as a team member to deliver a person-centred care that enhances the residents well-being and is inclusive of their physical, psychological, social and spiritual qualities, in order to facilitate self-determination, capacity and resilience, as well as improve social engagement and quality of life for the resident.

    Essential Criteria

    • Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
    • Current First Aid certificate
    • Certified in Medication Administration
    • Recognise Healthy Body Systems (HLTAP301B)
    • Provide Support to People Living With Dementia (CHCAGE005)
    • A good insight into the health, social or aged care services industries
    • Great communication and customer service skills and the ability to get along easily with others
    • A gift for working collaboratively with a team and confident flying solo
    • Great understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and risk management practices
    • Tech savvy with the capacity to document and communicate electronically, including via email and mobile phone.
    • Great organisation and time management skills

    Desired Criteria

    • Previous experience in aged or community care or in a retail or hospitality environment
    • Experience using client/data management systems
    • Current Australian driver’s license
