    Business Development Executive

    Job Description:

    We’re looking for someone who is target driven, networks, makes connections, builds relationships, and pursues opportunities. You will join our efforts to generate revenue with new clients by executing a disciplined new business development protocol. You will research industry segments and company profiles, follow up on trade journal leads and opportunities and deliver results by meeting with a wide range of posts from CEO, CFO, Procurement, Human Resources, Corporate Affairs, BEE & Transformation.

    The ideal candidate will be focused, have strong communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and have the ability to learn quickly and effectively, as the service we offer is specialised and strategic.

    We offer Enterprise and Supplier Development solutions (an element of the BEE Codes) to corporates and big businesses across South Africa.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify new business opportunities
    • Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help the company expand
    • Maintain existing business
    • Conducting research into customers to match needs with solutions
    • Presenting and selling company products and services to current and potential clients
    • Conducting meetings with all levels within the business including C-Suite executives
    • Preparing presentations, proposals and sales contracts
    • Negotiating deals with clients and being highly persuasive with a goal to close the deal

    Qualifications:

    • 5 years’ prior business development experience, preferably in a service related industry
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
    • Focused and goal-oriented
    • Ability to close
