Supply Chain Operator at Agfa Graphics

Job description

Major Accountabilities:

• Analyse stock levels on a monthly basis to ensure optimum stock holding at all times.
• Place orders for products and spares in SAP and on the Agfa Portal.
• Receive invoices and packing lists from Agfa HQ and prepare the import clearing instruction. Send to clearing agent reflecting the vessel name, container number, bill of lading number, port of loading and ETA. Information available on Agfa portal. For airfreight orders the airway bill, invoice and packing list
• Update the forecasts per product on APO monthly in conjunction with the sales department.
• Split GIT per category plus confirm GIT with finance.
• Cancel any order on overstock items
• Monthly S&OP preparation for monthly meeting with HQ
• Monthly customer consumption & supply for monthly customer meetings.
• Partake in physical stock counts when require

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:

• Education – Matric
• Working experince with SAP system and strong MS Excel knowledge
• At least 2 - 3 years of professional expereince in the logistic area (supply chain, order manaegment etc.)
• Knowledge of printing products would be additional benefit
• Demonstrate effective communication and problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with proficient planning with work schedules
