    National Sales Manager

    Job description

    We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is hard working, enthusiastic and a well-organized strategic leader. Our company values members who are self-motivated and able to work in a fluid and dynamic environment. The candidate will also have strong leadership, motivational and communications skills. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales Manager will be expected to multi-task across a range of essential functions, including:

    • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
    • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base
    • Recruit, set objectives, coach, motivate and monitor performance of sales representatives
    • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
    • Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
    • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
    • Formulate sales policies and procedures
    • Serve on the company EXCO
    • Fulfill a regional management role for the Edenvale office. This includes supervision of non-sales personnel (training, support etc.)

    Essential Criteria

    • Bachelor or Master’s degree in business administration or a related field
    • Successful previous experience as a sales manager (at least 5 years), consistently meeting or exceeding targets
    • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
    • Strong business sense and industry expertise
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills

    Beneficial Criteria

    • 10+ years’ experience
    • Experience in a software company, specifically a SaaS company
