An exciting opportunity has just become available for an experienced professional communicator, ideally from an agency background, to work at Kaelo Engage. We are small but perfectly formed communications agency specialising in social impact communications. Our new Account Director (we will call you the Head of Content) must first and foremost have extra-ordinary client service skills but must also be ready to contribute towards running and shaping the Kaelo business (together with our MD.)

This is a hands-on role which involves:

• providing strategic communications guidance to clients
• building of professional rapport with clients
• planning, directing and managing the small team in the execution of integrated campaigns
• knowledge and understanding of social impact space (desirable)
• control and management of budgets
• directs the development of all content – including media releases, articles, brochures, videos etc.
• reporting on client campaigns and accounts
• developing and executing stakeholder and media engagement strategies
• presentation skills
• drafting proposals and plans
• retaining and growing existing clients, supporting MD in new business
• providing MD with support in the execution of the business strategy

As Head of Content for Kaelo, you will handle a wide range of assignments and major accounts with a high degree of independence. You should have excellent client relationships and be ready to take up the position of a business leader.
