DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understanding of the foreign exchange market as follows:
• Understanding of FEC (calculation of profits and losses, buying and selling);
• Ability to calculate FEC deals accurately and efficiently;
• Ability to quote FEC deals to clients accurately and efficiently;
• Ability to quote spot deals accurately and efficiently;
• Ability to calculate cross rates accurately and efficiently; and
• Understanding of foreign exchange terminology.
• Confirmation of trades to client
• Growing and managing of clients
• Responding to client queries.
• Keeping clients updated with financial market news
• Understand and quote basic money market rates
• The establishment and maintenance of strategic alliances and networks
• Assist senior management with on-going retention marketing efforts
• Proactively manage client foreign exchange portfolios

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Minimum Matric (GR12 Certificate)
• Has passed or is studying for an ACI Certificate
• Has passed or is studying for FAIS representative examination
• Good MS Office skills especially Excel and Word
