Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced mobile test analyst to join our test team in digital banking.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 2 years of mobile testing experience.
• At least 4 years of relevant software testing experience with demonstrated abilities in the software testing field.
• BS or BA degree preferred, but relevant testing experience will supersede any qualification
• Finance Technology experience would be advantageous.

Key Skills

• Proficient in testing methodologies
• Worked in Agile environment (SCRUM)
• Identify test requirements from specifications or any other form of requirements
• Able to write test cases, test plans and follow the software testing life cycle
• Map test case requirements
• Design test coverage plan (requirements matrix)
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artefacts like test data, data validation, requirement matrices and reports
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases
• Reporting test results
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in mobile applications such as iOS, Android, and Windows phone (mobile).
• Web and desktop applications testing.
• ISTQB (Advantageous)
• Have experience with open source frameworks (Selenium and Appium)
• Should have Java and JavaScript development experience
• SQL experience
• Knowledge of other development languages e.g. C#, Python
• Good understanding of API
• Understanding of different operating systems, Mac and Windows

Testing Tools

• Have used testing tools, JIRA, Test link, Confluence
• Experience with tools such as JMeter, SOA Test, POSTMAN and SOAPUI

Technologies:

• Besides technologies already mentioned, knowledge of the following is required:
• Message based systems
• Back-end/Mainframe
• Commercial off the shelf applications (COTS)

Responsibilities

• Form part of delivery team
• Analyse and review business specifications, technical specification for test requirement validation
• Provide effort estimate to key stakeholders
• Design, prioritise and create tests against test requirement matrix
• Define and source test data for tests produced
• Execution of tests (manual and automated)
• Take part in design sessions / sprint meetings / all relevant reviews
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, infrastructure and other project stakeholders
• Execution reporting
• Defect management and reporting
