SCOPE: 24 month contract or full time employment (your choice) – consultative role, regular engagement with Senior stakeholders

THE MONEY: up to R500 per hour (roughly R80K p/m) – upper package being dependant on the person’s skills, qualifications and level

2 x Requirements:

• Documentum xCP Dev
• Documentum xCP Solutions Architect
• Non Negotiables: must have some form of Documentum certification or confident that you can write an xCP exam and pass within 3 months of employment.

Experience/Proficiency in the following:

• Customization and configuration of "off the shelf" software packages, such as Documentum
• Documentum, Captiva Capture and Advance Recognition
• Documentum XCP 1.x & 2.x, Webtop and WDK development
• Java and/or .NET based technologies
• Document transformation, Digital Signature and SharePoint
• 4+ Yrs Experience with EMC Documentum products like
• Documentum Content Server
• Documentum Webtop
• Documentum xCP
• Taskspace
• Hands-on Java with Eclipse (or similar IDE)
• DQL
• Documentum Adminstation
• Working knowledge of WebSphere fundamentals and Tomcat (vFabrictcServer)
• Understanding of Linux Fundamentals
• Experience with Shell (Bash/KSH) scripting
• Windows Cluster Administration

DUTIES:

• Plans and manages information technology related projects involving critical applications, large systems and sophisticated processes
• Provides team leadership, guidance, business, and technical expertise on assigned projects involving citywide computer systems.
• Designs and/or creates database structures, data migration/conversion techniques for system(s) conversions or upgrades.
• Monitors and tunes databases in order to obtain optimum performance.
• Applies analytical and advanced design techniques in developing new programs or systems or modifying existing ones.
• Codes and/or tests programs and resolve related problems in large, complex systems.
• Provides technical guidance to lower-level IT personnel and contractors through training, mentoring, and coaching.
• Performs other or related duties as assigned.
