    Senior Legal Advisor

    Job description

    Requirements :

    • Competition Law experience or Mergers and Acquisitions experience is essential
    • Admitted Attorney or Advocate
    • 4-6 years overall experience including 2-3 years in a management position
    • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to exercise sound judgement
    • Understanding and interest in competition law / economics matters

    Duties will include :

    • Investigating merger cases
    • Conducting research and providing advice to decision makers on the impact of mergers in the economy
    • Monitor merger conditions
    • Lead, supervise and provide guidance to a small team of merger analysts
    • Assist with strategic planning, staff management and development
