The successful candidate should have
- Strong industry knowledge of drilling and geology
- Established network in drilling and geological circles in Africa is essential
- Working knowledge of Gyro, Electronic Multishot and other downhole survey technologies is preferred.

- Candidate must be able to work autonomously
- Be prepared to travel frequently for short periods
- Must also be willing to establish new locations for extended periods
