Roads and Highway Engineers at Aurecon

Job description

Will be working in the Infrastructure Industry, with a specific focus on Transport Infrastructure such as roads, bridges and railways and airports

Will be working on Australian and New Zealand infrastructure projects, in a South African offshore center

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and/ or B.Tech in Civil Engineering and / or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2 - 5 years’ experience in a Civil Engineering Designer/Modeller role

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, modelling and/or drafting of transport and civil infrastructure
• Capable of understanding complex engineering problems
• Should be comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team, requiring coordination between discipline interfaces
• Willing to travel within South Africa and to Australia / New Zealand
• Geometric design, modelling and/or drafting
• Drainage design, modelling and/or drafting
• Pavement design, and/or drafting

• Experienced in any of our preferred drafting software packages (AutoCAD, MicroStation)
• Experienced in any of our preferred design software package (InRoads / MXRoads / PowerCivil, 12D).
• Experience in the following software packages will be an advantage (Navigator, LuminRT, ProjectWise)
