Do you have a passion for people and want to make a difference? RCL FOODS has an exciting new opportunity for a Retail Account Manager who will act as the front line interface to our retail customer, drive sales & product performance and ensure excellent customer service!

The successful incumbent will be responsible for managing relationships with key customers, work closely with the buying teams (managing orders, pricing and overstocking) and resolve store queries while supporting the Channel Manager. In addition, other key responsibilities will include collating data for reporting on sales performance, new supplier take on’s, demand planning, sales forecasting and budgeting - In all, a rewarding, all-round position!

• Key Account Management-
• Manage the calendar of business reviews and update the template before every meeting with the sales of the next month, including the analysis of service levels obtained from the demand forecasters.
• Key Account Administration-
• Issue/capture purchasing contracts for suppliers for stock to be ordered.
• Process contract pricing cost of product and selling price of stock.
• Business Development / Improvements-
• Expand client participation in the Vector service and product offering.
• Optimize basket and volume participation.
• Promotion and Forecast Communication-
• Implement price changes and manage business information content and flow.
• Facilitate effective stock management to effectively resource promotions.

Charge Maintenance

• Compile the monthly rebate payments for the principal.
• Flag issues that need re-evaluation by the Demand Manager and Supply Chain Director.

Reporting

Report on compliance of both Vector and suppliers on variables as set out in the various service level agreements.

What do you need?

• B Com Logistics or Supply Chain Degree preferably with a postgraduate qualification.
• Valid Code EB drivers' license.
• 3 – 5 years Key Account Management experience in a FMCG sales environment.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Experience in Vector Central Pricing is an advantage.
