    Sales Account Manager

    Job description

We are looking for Sales Account Manager in Johannesburg / South Africa .Our broad range of products and services span all aspects from cocoa sourcing to fine chocolate products, which are loved by people of all ages worldwide.     Accountabilities

    • Pursue sales leads
    • Visit existing and new customers
    • Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services
    • Respond to customer enquiries
    • Negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.
    • Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
    • Refer sales leads, customer feedback, and information on competitor activity to appropriate contacts within the organization so that they can respond to changing market conditions and customer demands.
    • Establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
    • Develop Chef to Chef relationships and engage in Chef associations to build brand awareness and usage opportunities.
    • Leverage Salesforce to track customer activities and manage opportunity pipelines.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree in Food Science or similar vocational education
    • 2+ years of relevant working experience in food industry (B2B)
    • Knowledge of Chocolate/Gourmet industry a plus
    • Proficient knowledge of MS Office
    • Good English skills
    • Minimum 5 years sales experience in
    • Good and effective communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proactive and Team player
