Support the line manager in managing the allocated brand portfolio in terms of positioning, advertising, price, packaging, profitability, promotional schedule, new product development and formulation changes
Assist with the strategic and annual brand plans that map out the growth objectives as well as the strategies and initiatives that will deliver against these objectives
Write and brief agencies on various marketing activities
Prepare documentation/presentations required for project meetings, change controls and various other project related requirements
Plan, brief, implement and evaluate marketing activities
Support the planning and execution of new product launches
Gather and consolidate data from internal sales, trade and media
Analyse and monitor brand performance; identify problem areas, implement corrective actions and proactively drive improved performance
Perform regular price/profitability and competitor’s reviews per brand
Administer budgets including the processing of invoices.
Requirements
A degree or diploma in Marketing or Business
At least 2 years’ product/ brand management experience, preferably in the food / FMCG industry
Excellent commercial understanding and business acumen
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects and timelines.
