Sourcing Co-ordinator at Truworths

Job description

Truworths is seeking candidates that have strong fashion, administration and travel experience to source innovative and adventurous product abroad.

Key Responsibility:

• Responsible for the fast and cost effective purchase of finished goods
• Negotiating prices and delivery dates
• Building relationships with Suppliers and Manufacturers

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing (or similar) background will be highly advantageous
• Team player with the ability to upward manage
• Proven ability to manage an Assistant
• Professional and able to present effectively
• Strong administrative as well as strong written communication skills
• Disciplined with a very high attention to detail
• Has travelling experience and is able to travel abroad
• Must be solution-focussed and enjoy problem solving
• Trader instinct to ensure growth of the portfolio
• Computer literate
• Able to build productive relationships with buyers and suppliers
• Innovative – ability to understand the workmanship involved and able to suggest options to change fabric and construction etc
• Proven negotiation skills
