This is a leadership role for a principal competition economist

You will be enthusiastic about monopolies and anti-competitive behaviour,

• Researching the field
• And evaluating mergers and acquisitions.
• It is essential to have a good understanding of the Competition Act, competition structures and the South African Economy.

IF YOU:

• Have a Masters or PhD in industrial economics
• Have 7-10 years managerial experience in a specialist environment
• Can lead a team of economists
• Identify research priorities around competition enforcement
• Communicate positively at all levels.
