Business Context

The DAN'IS MEESA (Middle East & East South Africa) cluster consists of 3 Cluster Business Service across countries. We have a great team located across all locations in MEESA working with the different businesses to become trusted thinking partnerships that drive transformation and growth with our partners in addition to supporting the important day to day activities.

IS Effectiveness

• Availability and effectiveness of IS applications in respective function, met or exceeded business' needs as expressed through SLAs and Global DANiS Governance principles.
• Effective functional user support in respective function based on internal SLA and KPI
• Contribute to the alignment of the IS service delivery with the business strategy and drive the business to utilize competitive advantages through technology enabled processes for respective function.

Business Support

• Challenge existing business practices and drive changes to technology enabled best practices in the respective function Area
• Key Point Of Contact for support and for specific projects between the respective function and the relevant key stakeholders in the business
• Determine the respective function environment for new applications / solutions in cooperation with CBS Head & IT Mgr
• Contribute to the development of and the alignment to the DAN'IS corporate standards to ensure company IT standards are being updated.
• Monitor and evaluate the respective function Area with existing laws, regulations, IS Governance Processes, and Internal Controls.

Project Management

Develop, monitor, and control project plan and execution in order to ensure effective and efficient project management

• Develop team competencies in order to achieve the best performance to support the organization's objectives

The role will be based in South Africa Johannesburg or Egypt Cairo, but some travel to other key locations will be required. You will need to work with MEESA IT team and with close connection with Snr Business Solution Managers and KAM's.

Future opportunities could be horizontal move to another Business Solution Manager, IT Manager, Business Transformation and others based on where you are in your development journey and of course the performance in role.
