• Achieve sales targets for the allocated territory by growing direct sales through targeted pharmacies
• Grow market share of promoted products in the allocated territory
• Develop and implement a cyclical and weekly territory planner
• Analyse all local data as received from wholesalers
• Maintain an up to date customer database reflecting all relevant info pertaining to each target customer
• Ensure optimal rating of all customers by using data on an ongoing basis
• Provide competitor activity feedback
• Achieve all activity standards within allocated territory
• Achieve call rate and frequencies for all targeted customers
• Organise and run training as identified within the territory or as per strategy
• Report on relevant and accurate market intelligence
• Maintain an exceptional level of product knowledge in line with Vital standards
• Control costs by monitoring expenses and planning activities within the promotional budget, while maximising return on investment.

Requirements

• Minimum: Grade 12 certificate
• Relevant tertiary education will be considered a significant added advantage
• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience working in the OTC/ Consumer/ FMCG market
• Previous experience of calling upon Pharmacies and Key Accounts within region within the last 12 months with a proven track record
• Incumbent must have had previous experience of working with Pharmacy Promotions (Counter Top Promotions, Broadsheet Advertising, Gondola displays etc)
