    Executive Personal AssistanT

    Job Description

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum matric and necessary competencies through experience or/ and a diploma in administration/ secretarial or equivalent qualification is required

    YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    At least 5-8 years relevant experience supporting Senior/Executive management in a similar environment

    JOB FUNCTION:

    • Performing PA duties to the Group Technical Executive and HOD team
    • Organising meetings, including arranging/confirming meetings, booking accommodation, making travel arrangements, prepare documentation and preparing travel reconciliations
    • Coordinating and monitoring assigned projects for the team
    • Manage administrative backup and support
    • Following up on tasks and commitments of the Executive and HOD team so that decisions/actions are tracked and implemented accordingly
    • Develop and maintain filing systems and procedures
    • Various ad-hoc responsibilities within the Group Technical department
    • Assisting with preparation of presentations, letters etc.

    CRITICAL SKILLS:

    • Excellent PA skills
    • Team player
    • Well-groomed, well-spoken, mature individual
    • Energetic, pro-active, positive and driven with own initiative
    • Advanced level of proficiency in MS Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel
    • Self-motivated, passionate, perseverant and able to perform independently
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to organise and prioritise
    • Excellent interpersonal skills on all levels
    • Ability to work with confidential matters
    • Strong administration skills and office management
    • Project management
    • Valid driver’s license with own car

    Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act and in line with the PPC Employment Equity Policy.
