Medical Laboratory Technicians at International SOS

Job description

• Periodically, International SOS is asked to show an "Expression of Interest" in regards to providing medical support to organisations such as the World Health Organisation, United Nations, NATO and others.
• Due to the nature of these organisations, when medical support is required, it is often with minimal notification and therefore, International SOS would need to submit CVs of candidates who would be willing to
• work within a conflict environment;
• able to deploy within a period of 14-21 day;
• commit to at least one rotation (3-6 weeks) or indeed full term of contract.

Therefore, International SOS is looking to create a pool of interest Medical Laboratory Technicians that meet the criteria below and would be interested in being considered for such a position:

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent certification
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in laboratory work within a hospital setting/equivalent
• Experience in the management of blood and blood products
• Nationally certified to practice as a laboratory technician in your country of origin
• Fluency in English
