Lead the way to reap the rewards. Head up the Johannesburg office for a property company with offices in the three major metros in South Africa. They provide a complete offering of services to the property market, from total management to day to day supervision of buildings and the strategic management of a portfolio investment. Their small but efficient team focuses on understanding a property's life cycle in order to get the most out of it. The team seeks a Regional Manager to be based in their Sandton, office, to both manage and grow the 3rd party property management business in Gauteng and further North. You will be a confident property professional able to pitch for business at the highest level. Simultaneously you will ensure that the service which your team of 15 current staff provide is of the highest level operationally. As a business minded person, you will be required to ensure the branch is profitable by driving down costs whilst maintaining professional standards and exceptional service. Becoming the Regional "face of the company' is the first objective as you will be involved in all leasing, facilities and all accounting performance and controls. You must be able to train and hire new staff and increase work from existing clients by proving your teams value. There will be travel involved in the form of visiting various sites around Gauteng, and to the Cape Town Head office. The incumbent must be confident and enjoy a good network of contacts with landlord's across South Africa. A minimum of 8 years experience in property management with retail exposure is also required. You need to be numerical and have a good understanding of financial statements to succeed in this performance driven role; this will be proven by your Property Studies, Finance or similar degree. Lastly, to lead the team and the growth of this business, you will have proven staff management skills and be an independent worker who will treat this as his/her own business.
