    Senior Voip Engineer

    Job description

    Turrito is looking for a Intermediate to Senior VOIP Technician to join an IT team of approximately 20 technicians to support the VOIP requirements of our customers.

    Required:

    • At least 4 to 6 years of experience supporting VOIP
    • Excellent understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP (SIP, RTP, DNS) with diagnostic and tracing experience.
    • Experienced in using network monitoring tools and applications
    • A logical and methodical approach to problem solving
    • Strong communication and customer service skills (in English language)
    • Knowledge & experience of (hosted) IP PBX systems

    Desirable:

    • Esperiience in multiple VOIP platforms (including Asterix)
    • History of employment at a dedicated VOIP provider
    • CISCO/AVAYA experience
    • Experience in call routing
    • VoIP network topology design and in depth troubleshooting of complex fault scenarios
    • Your duties as VoIP/SIP Support Engineer will include:
    • Technical design and implementation of VoIP/SIP services
    • Supporting MPLS & complex WAN VLAN environments
    • Dealing with clients to assist with fault resolution
    • Handling escalations from within the Technical Support team
