Accounts Assistant at The Aleit Group

Job description

The Aleit Group, renowned for its spectacular, high-end events, has been appointed by the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) as the exclusive restaurant and event operator throughout the museum. This includes the management of the restaurant and venue on level six, as well as all events hosted within the museum.

Responsibilities are as follows but are not limited to:

• Capturing of daily transactions – Pastel & Micros
• Petty cash control, bookkeeping, bank runs
• Daily “cash-ups” of the restaurant
• General administration for restaurant, venue, accounts department
• Internet banking
• Administration and pay out to all waiters
• Supplier control (invoices, statements)
• Handle account queries
• Reporting to the CFO

Experience

• Preferable 3 years’ experience
• Needs to have experience in POS systems, preferable micros
