Position Requirements:

• Instruct all departments regularly to ensure that all sales orders are updated and clients are informed about delivery date changes to ensure that OTD targets are met.
• Process daily invoicing to meet client OTD requirements
• Process costing spreadsheets of foreign shipments on a daily and timely manner and process on Syspro.
• Daily monitoring and updating of reports and systems to ensure that data is current.
• Formulate and implement an action plan/procedure which will focus on proactive action steps to be taken to highlight any “red flag” issues that require attention.
• Operational resolution to any delays to physical movement of the cargo management.
• Support and assist in resolving any document discrepancies.
• Consistently ensure that proactive action is taken to obtain corrected or missing document and information to eliminate/minimise delays.
• Attend Accountability and Production meetings.

Preferences:

• Must have excellent co-ordination skills and good expediting experience
• Computer Skills – Microsoft office, Excel, Word and Syspro or similar
• Percentage of Approximate Travel Required: 5%
