Job description

Our Client, a FMCG company within the Food and Personal Care industry has an exciting opportunity for a Production Manager to be accountable for the overall efficiency of their plant by ensuring that operational requirements and standard operating procedures thereof are effectively executed.

You will manage a team of more than 100 supervisors and operators to ensure that day-to-day activities and operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your acquired cross-functional skills and stakeholder engagement experience will come in handy when liaising with QA, Maintenance, Finance, Supply Chain and Planning teams, and when managing relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders. Sound understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles will be required to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production operations.

A tertiary qualification in Production, Operations, Industrial Engineering or equivalent coupled with at least 3 to 5 years Production Management experience within a FMCG environment is required.
