Overview

Solar Capital is looking for a Bookkeeper with 3-5 years experiences and a strong track record of financial delivery. We are looking for a someone who is versatile, has a keen attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The Bookkeeper must be able to work in a team environment, as well as work independently without supervision.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Process and reconcile cashbooks
• Process and reconcile supply invoices
• Process and reconcile sales invoices
• Process monthly general journals
• Admin and associated filing
• Maintain supplier and client databases
• Maintain customer and supplier details
• VAT reconciliations

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-years’ experience in bookkeeping
• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with Pastel preferred
• Meticulous
• Deadline driven
• Accurate
• Hardworking
