Job description

Purpose of the Role

Manages the integrity of the General Ledger and accuracy of reporting of monthly business results.

Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for completion of monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations,
- Accountable for overall review of General Ledger on a monthly basis and for accuracy of all journals passed therein.
- Accountable for preparation, analysis and delivery of monthly Departmental/Divisional Results including accuracy of all information therein,
- Accountable for completion of monthly journals
- Accountable for completion of accurate bordereaux to service providers
- Implementation and improvement of processes
- Auditing cashbooks, petty cash and credit cards
Knowledge and Experience:
- B Com (3 year degree) with 5 - 7 years working experience in a Finance function, or
- 5 – 7 years working experience
- Financial Service experience an advantage.
