Graduate Packaging Technologist, Lab technician & Quality Officer at Canway (Pty) Ltd

Job description

Position available for a Packaging Technologist, Lab technician and Quality Officer to become part of our technical team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that packaging products meet set requirements and specifications
• Running trials to check packaging for suitability and testing for performance under various conditions
• Writing reports
• Keeping up to date with technological innovations
• Assist monitoring & control of QC systems including the ISO 9001 and SANS 1841 system
• Internal Employee Training and Development
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Oversee all analytical testing functions and providing technical support when required
• Maintenance / ordering of laboratory equipment and consumables

Qualifications & Experience

• Matric with Maths (HG)
• A 3 year degree or diploma
• Computer literacy with regards to MS Office
• Ability to plan and executeInterested in Quality management systems
• An analytical tendency is a necessity
• Good organization and time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and be assertive
• Responsible and reliable with great attention to detail
• Dedicated and committed with good problem solving skills
