Full-stack Ruby on Rails Developer at Benchmark Digital

Job description

Benchmark Digital is looking for an experienced full-stack Ruby developer to join our team in expanding & supporting a very exciting, global, fintech cloud application.

The Skills

• At least 4 years experience Ruby on Rails or similar stack experience (such as Django, Laravel, Play or NodeJS)
• 4+ years experience front end web development
• A firm grasp of object oriented analysis and design
• Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Good knowledge of relational databases
• Experience in translating of UX wireframes to code and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Experience in interpreting designs to a very high standard and accuracy
• Foundation experience or equivalent framework
• Advanced understanding of CSS / SASS are essential
• Understanding of HTML and CSS standards
• Excellent understanding of JavaScript Frameworks (Angular or Backbone is advantageous)
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
