Account Manager
The Account Manager plays an essential role in supporting the team servicing the Client by ensuring timeous and accurate execution of campaign briefs. We expect this person to demonstrate the skills to be credible at this level, with the ability to problem solve and escalate as needed to the BUD and be able to stay in control of the roll out of Client campaigns with in the Publicis Communications agencies.
SCOPE OF THIS POSITION:
To implement and manage as tasked the successful creation, development and roll out of Client marketing communication in a TTL capacity.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Support the Client and Agency teams by ensuring all allocated tasks are implemented and monitored against the agreed timelines and milestones of campaign development and execution.
- Escalate issues to snr Account Management as needed to prevent campaign milestones being missed or budget being negatively impacted.
- Actively pursue opportunities to learn and growth within the portfolio.
- Living shared values and core behaviours of Publicis Communications.
- Maintain excellent intercompany and interdepartmental communication and knowledge transfer
GROWTH & PROFITABILITY
- Assist the team in identifying and maintaining opportunities for optimisation and harmonisation/integration of the various departments and Publicis Communications agencies.
- Maintain efficiencies, economies of scale & resource optimisation, ensuring jobs are delivered according to the allocated budget.

- Act as a role model for jnr Account Management members.
- Support knowledge transfer, knowledge sharing and up skilling through relevant & appropriate learning/teaching channels.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE
- Tertiary qualification: Relevant industry qualification
PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in the advertising industry.
- At least 1 year of experience in an Account Manager capacity.
- Solid writing, speaking & presenting skills in English.
Nice-to-Have (Desirable not Essential)
- Industry experience
- Previous working experience on TTL campaign delivery.
